Topics of medical importance using mathematics as a tool: Topics include integration; applications of definite integrals; integrals and transcendental functions; and techniques of integration.

Mathematical maturity appropriate to a sophomore math class. Beginning algebra enhanced with pre-algebra topics such as arithmetic, fractions, and word problems as need indicates. Sequences, series, and power series. This is the core of climate science.

CURRICULUM CORE
